In August, YENA (Choi Yena) released her 2^nd mini album, [SMART PHONE], which sold more than 110,000 albums in its first round of orders. After setting her career milestone, she is now back after five months to return to her fans.

YENA’s first single album, [Love War], contains Yena’s perspective on the process of ‘love’ and expresses her view of crude internal feelings in her straightforward and smooth methods. When working on this album, YENA participated in the lyrics and song production, reflecting her growing potential as a singer-songwriter and her artistic development. Furthermore, Colde, the musician, enhanced the album by participating in the production.

YENA’s involvement in the song production and lyrics of the title, ‘Love War,’ is about the period in love when it is on thin ice and lethargic. Also, the main characteristics of her title song are the straightforward lyrics and groovy melody.
