INTRO
- Maybe Love is Square!
The round Earth, round hearts, and the people gathered in that circle, loving each other.
We’re clearly living in the same world, but why is our love so jagged, sharp, and square?
In moments when everything fits perfectly together like blocks over the smallest things,
We like each other so much that we don’t want to part,
Yet over the tiniest of things, we sharpen our edges like corners,
Hurting each other and fighting.
Maybe love is sweet but angular,
Like that square sugar cube that might someday surely hurt me.
If that’s the case, I’ll swallow all of you—
Your good sides, your rough edges, everything!
So that whatever it was, I can say without regret, that it was love!
