INTRO
- The growth pains of seven youths swimming in the wide sea
- The even more mature stormy journey of TEMPEST, ‘TEMPEST Voyage,’ has been released.
Last year, TEMPEST solidified the group’s identity by consecutively releasing <Storm Eve> and <Into the Storm>. Now, they return with their fifth mini-album, <TEMPEST Voyage> This album marks the culmination of the ‘Storm’ series and captures today’s TEMPEST as they embark on a journey into a broader world.
In this album, TEMPEST reveals an imperfect and tumultuous inner self, as if navigating through a vast and turbulent sea. They explain the ‘reason why we chose this voyage.’ In contrast to their previous works, which mainly showcased powerful and bright energy, this time TEMPEST expresses a more mature self through subtle and sophisticated music and performances.
“Giving myself completely / Even if I lose my light / I’m still wander a bit more / LIGHTHOUSE leading you”
The title track ‘LIGHTHOUSE’ from the fifth mini-album, ‘TEMPEST Voyage,’ thoroughly captures the story of TEMPEST, who has become stronger while experiencing the growth pains within. The determination to become a presence that even illuminates the dark and rough sea stands out in the song.
Additionally, in this album, members ‘LEW’ and ‘HWARANG’, as well as ‘HYUK’ and ‘TAERAE’, have participated in the songwriting, attracting attention. This not only incorporates genuine stories and musical interpretations unique to TEMPEST but also signifies the expanding musical spectrum of TEMPEST.
Attention is being paid to what kind of stormy sailing Tempest will show, which is growing step by step and receiving a lot of love not only from domestic but also from global fans such as Japan and Vietnam.
